Our tour takes us out of the Walvis Bay Harbour, Namibia's only deep water harbour with many interesting new and old vessels to the oyster farms and a ship wreck with possible sightings of flamingo, Jackal and the beautiful oyster catcher.
This tour is a Photographers dream as well as a perfect time to relax. When there is no wind we use our engines which makes virtually no noise, otherwise the wind guides our vessel silently through the 100 sq km Lagoon area which is protected by a natural sand bank called Pelican Point and which is home to a large colony of Cape Fur Seals. We spend the morning looking for dolphins, pelicans and seagulls flying, swimming alongside the Catamarans. The calm waters of the lagoon together with the large stable sailing catamaran offers a perfect platform to view these marine wonders.With the wind in our sails, Our Vessel leaving virtually no carbon footprint, the tour is rounded off with our award winning mouth watering finger snacks served with fresh Namibian oysters and sparkling wine.
We unfortunately have to return to the Harbour making this a definite highlight of your Namibian experience.
